JABONERO

'The Identity of the Collective Memory' is a project for RiberArte that was curated by Francisco Javier Briongos Ibanez. The Renaissance palace of the Marques de San Adrian now houses the UNED of Tudela. Luis 'el Jabonero' was chosen as the protagonist for this project. Jabonero means someone who makes or sells soap. His family has not worked with soap for generations but the nickname is passed down anyway. His son is called Jabo.
