JABONERO
Tudela de Navarra, Spain, 2006

“The Identity of the Collective Memory” is a project for RiberArte that was curated by Francisco Javier Briongos Ibáñez. The renaisance palace of the Marqués de San Adrián now houses the UNED of Tudela.

A unique wall was chosen directly in front of the palace.

Luis “el Jabonero”. Jabonero means someone who makes or sells soap. His family has not worked with soap for generations but the nickname is passed down anyway. His son is called Jabo.

The completed drawing. This intervention was given the front page of the Diario de Navarra. The drawing continues to fade nicely.
