Had a blast in Bangkok visiting friends. Hung out in some cool bars, went to malls with frightening lifts, ate Japanese food and of course partied. There is never any excuse for being bored – there are so many things to do in Bangkok. I did some shopping, went to Chatuchak weekend market and made some social calls.
I also found time to play a little bit with a few images I snapped with automatic digital camera. I find Bangkok an inspirational city. It has grit as well as charm. One keeps it all going is a deep down with traditional society. A society where monks are only below the King in terms of social status. This is the Thai version of the Indian caste system perhaps but with far more benevolence.
Anway, I recommend checking out Bangkok. It doesn’t have much urban art, but that’s because the people and places are so picturesque that nobody is looking at the walls.
